SUNIL VS the life lineation...

Born on march 5 th at Neyyattinkara taluk in Trivandrum district. Pursued the study of painting at the school of arts after the completion of Pre-Degree. To be followed by adept and intensive training in Painting, Sculpture and Photography at the acclaimed College of Fine Arts in Trivandrum. Lured by the field of advertising, opted Applied Art for Painting and passed BFA with first class in the year 2000. Has also Passed Madras Govt: Technical Examination (Drawing and Painting) Course. Though the domains of Poetry and Painting are subtly diverse, both expressions came out freely from the pen, each assimilating from the warmth and essence of the other. Even during the Fine Arts days, joined Kerala Kaumudi group as a freelance artist. Has secured the prestigious Caricature Award of the Kerala Cartoon Academy, Short Story Award of the Mathrubhumi Silver Jubilee, Poetry Awards from Yuvakalasahithi, Kalakendra and Grameena kalasahithya Sangham besides many other awards in the fields of poetry and painting. Has worked as a regular artist in the Yuvavani section All India Radio and frequently recited own poems from the year 1995 to 1999. The interludes during study triggered the making of the Poster Designer and Freelance Artist. Turned to the realistic school of painting drawing inspiration from the medium of oil painting. Had a great admiration for Ravivarma Paintings because of the proper understanding of the difficulty to use the specific medium of oil painting. At the time of the completion of studies, had already done illustrations for magazines like Kerala Kaumudi, Upadhwani, Ullezhuthu, Swasrayakeralam, Unma, Sabdajalam, Kaliveena, Yuvadhara, Gramam, Trivandrum Speaking, Kavimozhi etc. Became well versed in softwares like Coreldraw, Photoshop, Illustrator etc even during the college days and joined Chakra Advertising Agency as a part time Visualizer soon after studies. Later on worked with prime ad agencies like HAYMARKET, CHRYSALIS, ITL COMMUNICATIONS IMPACT (UAE), CMM INDIA (Coimbatore) etc thus understanding the magical scapes of advertising and successfully endeavored to create a style of one's own.
